As time goes by, I believe that God has truly begun to show me things that I was blind to. The one person that I held close, has become the person that is the farthest from me. I find myself not just going through the pain of my mother in the hospital, but also being disappointed with the one person I thought I could count on. They have proven themselves to be the type of person they said they’d never be. Through all of this I am glad that God has opened up my eyes to see the chains that were holding me back. It’s just so mesmerizing to see how sometimes we want to hold unto something or someone that we loose sight of God, we loose sight of his calling upon our lives, and what he wants to do with in our life. This part of my walk with God has shown me so much and stretched my faith to new levels. I have no where else to run to but Him. I am truly grateful because God has kept close to me even when I was far from him. Through this moment, I can see his love more clear than ever, I can sense his strength being infused with in the deepest part of my soul. He has taken away, but he will give back blessings. I’ve learned to trust God even when literally the whole world may be falling apart, when I feel like I’m drowning, he is saving me. God wants me to depend on him 100% and nothing less. The process to get there will seem impossible and unbearable, but he promises he won’t give me something that I cannot handle and I can do all things through him who strengthens me! Hope is what anchors the soul in the Ocean of His Presence. When he asked me to step out of the boat, I did; trusting and holding unto him only, with no other thing to hold on. As time continues to go by…I can only hope in him.
